Facial recognition with Google Glass and LinkedIn

Imagine that you can go recognize faces when you go to a fair, seminar or reception wearing Google Glass and signal contacts via LinkedIn, view their profile and send them messages.

Sharing your data is important. You will certainly be able to indicate with Google whether or not you wish to remain incognito for Google Glass.

Government services have had facial recognition based on images and video at their disposal since the 90s, and this possibility was introduced a couple of years ago in among others: Picasa Web Albums (now Google + Photos). When you take a picture or video of one of the LinkedIn contacts recognized by Google Glass, the images can automatically be tagged with the details of that person.
